One of the most important issues for New Yorkers has not been covered by most of the major news outlets, that is Governor Hochul's attempt to push through by means of an unconstitutional regulation plans for quarantine (i.e., internment) camps which the state legislature refused to pass. It was struck down in New York State Supreme Court on July 8, but the governor has indicated her intention to appeal.
